Yugoslavia beat Norway 1-0, with a goal from Savo Milosevic taking them to the top of Group C with one game left to play. Milosevic got a slight touch to a curling free kick from Vladimir Jugovic in the eighth minute, deflecting the ball past Norwegian keeper Thomas Myhre for his third goal at Euro 2000, bringing him level with Slovenia's Zlatko Zahovic as leading scorer in the tournament. Yugoslav striker Mateja Kezman was sent off in the 88th minute for a reckless tackle, just one minute after going on as substitute. Yugoslavia's win means a draw with Spain in their last match will ensure qualification for the quarter-finals. Norway must beat Slovenia to guarantee a place in the last eight.
