Patrick Kluivert scored three goals as the Netherlands rampaged to a 6-1 victory over Yugoslavia in the Euro 2000 quarter-finals. The Dutch played brilliantly and Kluivert was at his clinical best as he scored twice in the first half and once in the second before being substituted in the 60th minute. Kluivert was originally credited with his team's third goal on 51st minute but it was later confirmed that it was an own goal by Yugoslavia's Dejan Govedarica. Marc Overmars added two more in the 78th and 90th minutes. Savo Milosevic scored a consolation goal for Yugoslavia in stoppage time, his fifth of the tournament. Kluivert is now joint top scorer at Euro 2000 with five goals. The Netherlands will play their semifinal against Italy on Thursday in Amsterdam.

.	- 0.9 MB - 1.9 MB - 1.9 MB Overmars (78') (0-5). He smashed a superb volley into the top left-hand corner from the edge of the area after a cross from Bergkamp.
